Staff changes at LSCFT library service
We have some staff changes here at Gosall Library. While Katie Roper is on maternity leave Emma Dent will be covering as information services librarian. If you would like to contact Emma please email her on emma.dent@lscft.nhs.uk.
Lantern Centre and Library
Early closure of the Lantern Centre and Gosall Library
The Lantern Centre has had to close today and tomorrow due to staff shortages. Access to the library is, therefore, not available now until the building reopens on Tuesday 3rd January.
We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. A virtual service will be in operation during the Christmas period. Details are below. Please email the library team with any requests: academic.library@lscft.nhs.uk

Gosall Library
Library opening hours
The Gosall Library is open between 9am (when the Lantern Centre reception opens) and 4:30pm Mondays to Fridays.
All Trust staff staff are welcome to call in for a browse, to use the hot-desking areas and for free hot drinks.

Macmillan Coffee Morning
Wednesday 28th September 2022
The Library will be holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Wednesday 28th September 2022. Please come along to the Lantern Centre (10am until sellout) to have a hot drink and a treat. All proceeds donated to Macmillan cancer support.
Come and take a browse round the library and get to know the team.
If you would like to donate a cake or a prize for our tombola, please get in touch with academic.library.lscft.nhs.uk or bring it with you on the day. Please note this will be cash only.
Lunch and Learn
26th September 2022
Our next Lunch and Learn session is happening on Monday 26th September 2022 (12-1pm) with our colleague Marisa Wray, who will be sharing her experience of receiving a cancer diagnosis during the pandemic. Marisa is also a consultant psychiatrist within the Trust and will be discussing the impact this has had when working with her own patients.
All library members should have received a Team’s invite to the meeting. If not, please get in touch with academic.library@lscft.nhs.uk for an invite to be extended to yourself or your team.
MacMillan Coffee Morning
Gosall Library
We would like to invite all staff to attend our Coffee Morning on Wednesday 28th September. This will be held in the Gosall Library at the Lantern Centre from 10am.
Come and have a brew, buy a cake or treat and have a go at winning a prize on our tombola.
