Health Information Week is a national, multi-sector campaign promoting high-quality information for patients and the public

High quality health information can have a huge impact on people’s ability to stay healthy and manage illnesses effectively, giving them a better quality of life.

In response to these needs, Health Information Week 2021 runs from 5th to 11th July and focuses on the themes of:

  • Quality Marks
  • Health information for children and young people
  • Uplifting resources for the NHS from the NHS
  • Digital health
  • “Oh, I don’t know what to believe…”
  • Health information for everyone
  • Vaccines

Royal Marsden Manual Online

New Student Companion Site now available

The new Student Companion site is now available as part of our online subscription to the Royal Marsden Manual of Clinical Nursing Procedures. The site gives you access to the rich tools and resources available for the manual.

There are plenty of exciting learning tools for student nurses to help test and grow their knowledge such as:

  • “Drag and Drop” Sequencing Exercises- Drag and drop the steps of key following clinical procedures into the correct order to test their knowledge and understanding
  • Label the Diagram
  • Full Glossary- Find out the definition of some of those key terms
  • Question and Answers for each Chapter
  • Additional Reading- learn what other Nursing products Wiley has to offer which can support their development

BMJ Best Practice is a fantastic resource to support with clinical decision making. The resource is available online and accessible as a mobile app. Simply login with your Open Athens details to access all materials from treatment options to clinical calculators and patient leaflets. Simply search the condition or symptom you are hoping to treat to find evidence based support.
