The Women’s Prize for Fiction is the UK’s most prestigious annual book award celebrating and honouring fiction by women. The Prize celebrates excellence, originality and accessibility in writing by women in English from throughout the world. The 2022 longlist was announced recently, with the winner being announced on the 15th June.

What better way to discover new books than through recommendations from the shelves of inspiring women?
In this episode of the Women’s Prize for Fiction podcast, from October 2020, Zing Tsjeng is joined by Ruby Wax – a successful comedian, TV writer and performer of over 25 years. Ruby additionally holds a Master’s degree in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy from Oxford University, and was awarded an OBE in 2015 for her services to mental health. On this topic, she is the author of multiple best selling books. She is also the president of the UK’s leading relationship support charity Relate.
Thank you to everyone who attended our lunch and learn session on Wednesday. Our guest speaker, Lesley Whittaker, Enhancing Experience Matron from the Experience and Engagement Team, led a very interesting and engaging session about creating and sharing patient stories.
