NHS quarterly monitoring report
The King’s Fund has published its 22nd Quarterly Monitoring Report.  The report details the results of an online survey of NHS trust finance directors and clinical commissioning group finance leads carried out between 18 January and 1 February 2017. It highlights that despite the recent media focus on access to GPs, the latest survey finds that the rising number of patients with complex health needs is the key factor behind the increasing pressures on A&E departments.
