Patient experience data
Membership Engagement Services in collaboration withInHealth Associateshas published Making Sense andMaking Use of Patient ExperienceData. Thereport considers the use of patient experience data by trusts including what’s being collected, how and why, and how the results are being used to improve services. The report notes the dedication of patient experience teams, but says the sheer volume of corporate data and other pressures on them are limiting their ability to put the information to work.
Staff survey comparison tool
NHS Employers has published The Staff Survey Comparison Tool which allows NHS organisations to use data from the staff survey and national patient survey to assess their relative scores on key issues against other NHS organisations and areas. It compares scores across a range of indicators and should complement information from the staff survey provider and data provided on the NHS Staff Survey website.
