Healthy Lives, Healthy People: A Public Health Workforce Strategy – HM Government
This is an updated version of the report saying what we have done over the last year and what the next steps are for each of the 14 commitments set out in the 2013 strategy. The strategy sets out actions for various partners in the new public health system to support and develop the public health workforce. It will help embed public health capacity within the wider workforce to support delivery of the public health outcomes framework. The commitments will be delivered by a range of organisations including Public Health England, the Department of Health, Health Education England and local authorities. The strategy will be reviewed in 2015.
