Greater Manchester Health Librarians have come together using funding from the Health Care Libraries Unit and themselves to create a resource for NHS Staff of e-books.

By collaborating together on this collection we have demonstrated the benefits of partnership working that has outweighed any individual benefits of having individual collections of e-books.  In addition you’ll find links beyond the Dawsonera collection that has been the focus of this collection to include the Oxford Textbooks and Handbooks that are made available regionally as a result of funding from the Health Care Libraries Unit.

This collection also lists the optional Oxford Specialist Handbooks, these are additional purchases made by your local NHS Library, if you do not have access to these with your OpenAthens Account, ask your local librarian.

We are currently awaiting the outcome of a bid to increase the amount of management books that are available in the collection, so watch this space!
